FAQs

What are classes like?

1

Every class is structured the same, so you know what to expect each week. The first half of the class is dedicated to our slow vocabulary. You will review what you learned the previous week and then learn a new move or two. After that, we will dance to a slow song to practice the moves we’ve completed. The second half of the class is dedicated to our fast vocabulary and functions the same way. Some classes we also build on concepts like formations and how to transfer the leader.

How do I get started?

E-mail or text me to sign up for any upcoming classes and I will add you to the list as long as there is space remaining. I am working on an online system, but at this time, you can contact me with any questions, comments or concerns.

How do you accept payment?

I am working on an online payment system for credit cards, but at this time I accept venmo, paypal, cash, or checks. Class series can be paid in full or on a monthly basis. For more details, please reach out!

Do I need previous dance experience?

What do I wear?

4

You can wear whatever you feel comfortable dancing in! I typically wear leggings/joggers and a tank top or t-shirt. You are never required to show your belly, but are always welcome to! For your feet, you can be barefoot, but may want to consider socks or dance shoes for extra support/comfort. You can also dress up your class attire with fun accessories like hip scarves or coin belts! I also bring extra hip scarves to class to borrow if you’d like :)

No prior dance experience is necessary! Our classes are designed to work with absolute beginners to advanced dancers.
